Refunds, Returns & Cancellation Policy
At Lumera Aesthetics, we are committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based aesthetic treatments and personalized care. Due to the nature of aesthetic and medical services, the following policies apply to all services, packages, products, and appointments.
1. No Refund Policy on Services Rendered
All aesthetic treatments and services provided at Lumera Aesthetics are non-refundable once rendered, in whole or in part.
Results may vary depending on individual factors such as skin type, medical history, lifestyle, and adherence to post-treatment care instructions. As outlined in the informed consent process, no specific outcome or result can be guaranteed.
2. Treatment Packages and Prepaid Services
All prepaid services and treatment packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Packages must be used within the specified timeframe outlined at the time of purchase.
Unused sessions are not eligible for cash refunds, credits, or exchanges.
In certain medical circumstances, Lumera Aesthetics may, at its sole discretion, allow a treatment substitution or clinic credit, but this is not guaranteed and will be evaluated case by case.
3. Product Sales
Skincare products, medical-grade products, and consumables are final sale.
Returns or exchanges are not accepted once products have left the clinic, due to hygiene, safety, and regulatory considerations.
Defective products may be exchanged only if reported within 7 days of purchase, accompanied by proof of purchase and unused condition.
4. Deposits and Appointment Bookings
A deposit is required to secure appointments.
Deposits are non-refundable, but may be applied toward the scheduled service if the appointment is attended as booked.
Failure to attend the appointment or late cancellations may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
5. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
We require a minimum of 24–48 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling (exact timeframe may vary by treatment type).
Late cancellations or no-shows may result in:
Loss of deposit
Full charge of the scheduled service
Repeated no-shows may result in restricted booking privileges.
6. Medical Contraindications & Treatment Deferral
If, on the day of treatment, the provider determines that it is unsafe or clinically inappropriate to proceed due to medical contraindications, undisclosed conditions, or skin integrity concerns:
The appointment may be deferred for patient safety.
Deposits may be transferred to a future appointment, at Lumera’s discretion.
Refunds will not be issued.
7. Chargebacks & Disputes
By purchasing services or products at Lumera Aesthetics, clients agree to first contact the clinic directly to address any concerns. Unauthorized chargebacks or disputes may result in:
Immediate suspension of services
Collection action for outstanding balances
8. Policy Acceptance
By booking an appointment, purchasing a service, package, or product, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Refunds, Returns & Cancellation Policy as well as the clinic’s Informed Consent and Service Agreement.
